Your house may not be as safe for your ferret as you think! There are many common houseplants that could be toxic to your ferret. Some will only cause vomiting and diarrhea, but others could cause organ failure and even death. Either outcome is obviously something you want to avoid! It’s very important that you know what plants are in your house, and either put potentially poisonous plants in a room that your ferrets don’t go in or throw the poisonous plants away altogether.
If you think that your ferret may have ingested any of the plants listed below, you need to seek medical assistance immediately.
